Vol. 10. #22, Thursday Morning, 7 Jun. 1876:
 
A dispatch was received in Hawkinsville on the 17th of May, by Mr. D. G. 
Fleming, stating that his uncle, Pulaski Fleming, died in Atlanta on that 
morning,  Letters since received confirm the sad tidings by telegraph.  Mr. 
Fleming was raised in our county, and was named after Count Pulaski, the 
brave  Polander  who was killed in front of Savannah, Ga., during the 
revolutionary war.  Mr. Fleming resided for a long while in Dooly County, but 
returned to Pulaki a few years prior to the late war.  In 1868 he moved to 
Cobb County,  where he lived until about the year 1873,  when he engaged in 
business in Atlanta, where he remained until his death.  He was a brother of  
Messrs. James  and  Ferdinand Fleming  and  Mrs. Thully Williamson, all now 
living in our county.  The deceased was a Deacon of the Baptist Church and a 
member of the Masonic fraternity.  He was about sixty-two years of age.

Additional Comments:
Count Pulaski Fleming married Martha A. Bembry, she was born 21 November 1818 
and died 28 February 1886 and was buried in The Oakland Cemetery, Fulton 
County, Georgia
