Funeral To Take Place This Afternoon

Dr. Jeremiah Otis Gilbert, a well known dentist of Atlanta, and a brother of 
Dr. W. L. Gilbert, president of the Board of Health, died at his residence, 
347 Ponce de Leon Avenue at 7 o'clock last night.

Dr. Gilbert was 36 years of age and had resided in this city for a number of 
years.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kate Gilbert; two daughters, Misses 
Katherine and Gartine Gilbert; his father, J. S. Gilbert; three sisters, Mrs. 
George Taylor, and Misses Hattie and Annie Gilbert, and two brothers, Dr. 
William L. and Hugh W. Gilbert.

The funeral will take place this afternoon, after which the body will be taken 
to Mt. Zion Church for interment.

Additional Comments:
Dr. Gilbert was the son of Jeremiah Silas Gilbert and Sarah Matilda Perkerson, 
both of Atlanta.
