Holbrook, 45, vice president of the Concrete-Culvert Company, of East Point, who was killed instantly Tuesday morning when his automobile was demolished by an inbound Central of Georgia train, were held from the residence, 800 East Point Avenue, at 1:30 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, Rev. W.D. Owens officiated. Interment was at Mableton, Ga. The John R. Wilkinson Lodge, F.&A.M., officiated at the grave, pallbearers being selected from members of the lodge. The machine driven by Mr. Holbrook was traveling at about 10 miles an hour when struck, witnesses say. The train, Central No. 11 was making about 12 miles an hour at the time Engineer Wall reported. Mr. Holbrook was a native of Lawrenceville, Ga., but moved to East Point several years ago. He was prominent in business and civic circles of the Atlanta suburb.
