Johnston-Died, at the residence, 131 McLendon avenue, Tuesday evening, October 
11, 1921, Mrs. J. D. Johnston.  She is survived by her husband; three 
daughters, Mrs. M J Veasey, Mrs. Homer McCook Harris, of DeSoto, Ga.; Miss 
India Johnston, and one son, Mr. Howard Johnston.  Funeral arrangements will 
be announced later by H M Patterson & Son.

Johnston-The friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. J D Johnston, of 131 
McLendon avenue; Mrs. M J Veasey, Mr. and Mrs. Homer McCook Harris, of Desoto, 
Ga.; Miss India Johnston, Miss Dollie Clower, Mr. Howard Johnston, and Mr. and 
Mrs. John Clower, of Morgan Springs, Tenn. are invited to attend the funeral 
services of Mrs. J D Johnston at the chapel of H M Patterson & Son this 
(Thursday) afternoon, October 13, 1921, at 2:30 o'clock.  Rev. Wallace Rogers 
will officiate.  Interment will be in West View cemetery.  The following 
gentlemen will please act as pallbearers and meet at the chapel at 2:15 
o'clock: Mr. W R Jones, Mr. O S Myrick, Mr. Clarence Myrick, Mr. W M Sheats, 
Mr. Lewis Williams and Mr. Rufus Pritchett.

Mrs. J D Johnston of 131 McLendon avenue, died Wednesday at her home.  She is 
survived by her husband; a son, Howard Johnston of Atlanta, and three 
daughters, Mrs. Homer McCook Harris, of DeSoto, Ga., and Mrs. M J Veasey and 
Miss India Johnston, of Atlanta.
