Kerr Today Funeral services for J. Edwin Kerr, 35, prominent Atlanta business man and member of the firm of Simmons-Kerr Realty company, who died early Monday morning at a private hospital, will be held at 2:30 o’clock this afternoon from the residence, 70 Lullwater Road. Dr. M. Ashby Jones, pastor of Ponce de Leon Avenue Baptist church will officiate. Interment will be in Decatur cemetery. H.M. Patterson & Son in charge. Henry Davis, John Yopp, Frank Stevens, Charles Wilkins, E.H. Sims, T.H. Simmons and J.H. Lifsey will act as pallbearers. Mr. Kerr was stricken with appendicitis while returning from a trip to Miami, Fla., last Monday week. He underwent an operation and died as the result of complications after a week’s illness. In addition to being interested in the real estate business, he was head of the Kerr Lumber company, and the Refrigeration Publishing company. Mr. Kerr was a member of Yaarab Templar, W.D. Luckie lodge of Masons, the Capital City, Piedmont Driving and Atlanta Athletic clubs and the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. He was married to Miss Magnolia Bostwick, daughter of John Bostwick, of Bostwick, Ga. in June 1914. Other survivors in addition to his widow are his mother, Mrs. C.E. Kerr, of Decatur; son, J.E. Kerr, Jr.; three sisters, Mrs. F.A. Coleman, of Greymont, Ga.; Mrs. J. Davis Camp and Miss Mabel Kerr, both of Decatur; a niece, Mrs. Thurman Thompson, of Decatur,, and two nephews, John B.
