The assassination of Capt. H.L. King by Alex Carr in Atlanta last Friday was a 
very brutal affair according to the testimony of eyewitnesses.  Carr shot King 
down in the street, and then shot him several times while he lay helpless.

The Fulton Grand Jury is in session.  A true bill was found against Alex Carr, 
charging him with the murder of H.O. King.  John Carr and E.B. Bailey were 
indicted for being accessories to the murder.

Transcriber note: The initials of the deceased were different in both 
articles.  I'm not a researcher of the King family and don't know the correct 
initials for the individual.
