M'elroy: The friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. J. Tom McElroy, Dorothy 
Louise McElroy, Lamar McElroy, Mrs. A L Williams, Mr. Claude Williams, 
Avondale Estates; Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Williams, Atlanta; Mr. Charlie Williams, 
Mr. and Mrs. T O Burdette, Avondale Estates, Mr. and Mrs. L C Harrison, Mr.and 
Mrs. Charlie Howard, Atlanta, and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Perkins, Avondale 
Estates, are invited to attend the funeral services of Mrs. J Tom McElroy, 
Sunday morning at 11 o'clock at Midway Presbyterian church.  Rev. Eli A. 
Thomas will officiate.  Interment in Indian Creek cemetery.  The following 
gentlemen are requested to act as pallbearers and meet at the residence at 
9:45 o'clock: Messrs. J S Williams, O C Williams, L C Harrison, E L Perkins, T 
O Burdette, and Charles Howard.  A S Turner, funeral director. 
 
5 June 1927          
Funeral services for Mrs. J Tom McElroy, 22, who died Friday at her home in 
Avondale Estates, will be held this morning at 11 o'clock from the Midway 
Presbyterian church near Decatur, Ga.  The Rev. E A Thomas will officiate.  
Interment will be in Indian Creek cemetery, five miles south of Decatur.

Mrs. McElroy is survived by her husband; two small children; her mother, Mrs. 
A L Williams; three brothers, Claude, Charlie and Sidney Williams, and four 
sisters, Mrs. T O Burdette, Mrs. Elmer Perkins, Mrs. L C Harrison and Mrs. 
Charlie Howard.  A. S. Turner in charge.
