Died From Eating Poisoned Meat

Atlanta, March 17 – From eating meat which was infected with ptomaine poison, 
Miss Sallie Miller died at No. 12 Factory Street early yesterday morning and 
the verdict was that death was due to poisoning.  No blame was attached to the 
butcher who sold the poisoned meat.  Eight people were poisoned at the same 
time and three of them became desperately ill.  Miss Miller was the most 
violently ill and after lingering a day and a night she finally succumbed to 
the effects of the poison.
