    Hardy Isaiah Randall IS DEAD: FUNERAL ON MONDAY
     
    Captain Hardy Isaiah Randall, well known in Atlanta and Fulton County, 
died at his residence, at Vinings Station, Saturday evening at 6 o’clock, at 
the age of 74 years.

    Mr. Randall was the father of William Lane Randall, Harvey Gatewood 
Randall, and Paul Hill Randall, of the firm of Randall Brothers, prominent 
coal dealers in Atlanta. He was also a veteran of the Civil War in which he 
distinguished himself as a soldier.

    The funeral will be held Monday morning at 10 o’clock, from Vining 
Methodist Church. The internment will be in the family burying ground.

Third great-grandfather Captain Hardy Isaiah Randall Sr. was the son of 
Pinkney/Pickney Harvey & Catron PACE Randall; grandson of John BULL & Hannah 
HARVEY Randal(l) (the name of Bull was changed to Randal(l)) & Hardy & Lucy 
KIRKSEY Pace (Hardy being the founder of Vining Station, now Vinings, Georgia).
He is featured in both the book & movie 'Gone With The Wind'.
