He was 68 years, six months and 72 days of age Brother Rolader's funeral occurred Tuesday morning at 11:00 o'clock at Sardis Methodist Church - internment in churchyard. He was the son of the late Rev. W.J. Rolader. His mother before her marriage was Anna Gunter. Uncle Don Rolader joined the Mt. Vernon Methodist Episcopal Church, South, at the age of 14 years, He was happily married in 1880 to Miss Arrie Cofield, now his widow. In 1881 Brother Rolader with his young wife moved his membership to Sardis Methodist Episcopal Church where he remained a member until his death. He was a Church member 56 years, served as Steward 20 years, until his death at which time a superintendent of Sunday School, He was always faithful.Surviving Brother Rolader are his widow, six sons, two daughters, twelve grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 24 nephews and nieces and two brothers. Brother Rolader was an obedient son, beloved brother, a kind husband and a loving and devoted father, law abiding citizen, a good neighbor, He was a praying Christian 64 years and died in the faith --- night of heaven and in the arms of Jesus where he sleeps today, Faithful servant well don. Rest now for your loved employ, you fought the good fight. The prize you won, Enter in your Master's joy. Brother Rolader was raised in a Distinctively Christian home, His character was always ---- --- ordained above reproach, Brother Rolader remembered his friends by the ----- as was shown at the funeral with more than 700 in attendance. The Rev. Jack Penn and Rev. A.E. Nunn officiated.
