DEATH OF MRS. MARY E. SHAW.
We are pained to announce the death of this estimable lady, which took place 
yesterday about 10 o'clock A.M., at the residence of her son-in-law, William 
McMillen, Esq., in the vicinity of this city.  Mrs. Shaw was born in North 
Carolina.  Her first husband was Dr. E. Rheinhardt, with whom she resided in 
Memphis, Tenn., for thirty years.  Her second husband, Captain Alex. Shaw, was 
a resident of DeSoto County, Miss., where he died several years since.  Mrs. 
Shaw moved to this vicinity in 1866, where she formed many acquaintances who 
sincerely lament her death and sympathize with her mourning family in their 
loss.  At the time of her death she was 72 years of age, and had been for many 
years a consistent member of the Presbyterian church.  Her funeral will take 
place to-day from the First Presbyterian Church at 10 o'clock A.M.
