Mrs. Shearer was well known here, having been a resident of Atlanta for forty-three years. She was born in England, coming to this country in 1853. She has been a member of St. Philip's church for the past twenty years. She was a good Christian and was noted for the many charitable acts that she performed. The funeral will take place Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock, from St. Philip's church.
