News Gleaned From Georgia

Mrs. John Silvey, widow of the late John Silvey, one of the pioneer merchants
and builders of Atlanta, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William H Speer,
on the Peachtree Road.  She was in her eighty-second year and had been in
declining health for some time.
