Simpson, 78 years old, Civil War Veteran and one of the oldest Masons in the city, died Tuesday morning at the home of his son, Thomas L. Simpson, 73 Metropolitan Avenue, East Atlanta. He is survived by three daughters, *Mrs. John G. Sprayberry, Mrs. James W. Clark, of Stockbridge Georgia, and Mrs. T. A. Minor, of New Orleans; two sons, Joseph A. and Thomas L. Simpson of Atlanta; three sisters, Mrs. Laura A. Masters, Mrs. Lou Terry of Acworth, Ga., and Mrs. Frank Tramwell(aka Trammell)(Nancy J.) of East Point; and four brothers, Mr. William A. and J. P. Simpson of McDonough; Isaac H. Simpson of Ellenwood, and Monroe Simpson of Powder Springs.
