TURMAN-The friends of Mr.William R. Turman, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Turman, 
Jr., Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Turman, Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Boykin and Mr. and Mrs. 
Robert L. Turman are invited to attend the funeral of Mr. William R. Turman, 
Sr. this (Sunday) afternoon at 3 o'clock from St. Luke's Episcopal church. 
Interment at West View. The following gentlemen will act as pallbearers and 
assemble at the offices of Harry G. Poole at 2:15 o'clock: Mr. R. H. Jones, 
Jr., Mr. B. M. Boykin, Mr. Andrew Calhoun, Mr. T. R. Sawtell, Mr. Robert Lee 
Avary and Mr. George M. Battey.  Rev. Dr. Wilmar will officiate. 

Additional Comments:
These Turmans are descendants of Samuel Turman (ca1800-1837) and wife Mary 
Fortson of Elbert Co. and Harris Co., GA, Samuel Turman being a son of George 
Turman and wife Vileta Higginbotham, daughter of Rev. Soldier Col. Samuel 
Higginbotham and wife Jane Satterwhite of Amherst Co., VA and Elbert Co. Mary 
Fortson was a granddaughter of Rev. Soldier Lt. Thomas Fortson, Jr. and wife 
Rachel Winn of Caroline and Orange Cos., VA and Elbert Co.
