Atlanta Journal 
James. W. Whitfield, 78, died May 16, 1950.
Burial Forest Grove Cemetery.
Survived by wife, Mrs. Nervia Smith, and two sons, Vernon and Virgil Whitfield, 
all of Atlanta, and several nephews.

Additional Comments:
Mrs. Nervia (Minerva) Smith was listed as wife by error.  She was James. W. 
Whitfield's sister.
