Atlanta Constitution Wednesday, July 15, 1918
Charles C. Witt, 69 years old, for the past 40 years connected with the 
Western Union Telegraph company, died Sunday afternoon at the residence, 3 
Orange street.  He is survived by his wife; one son, Paul D. Witt, of 
Charlotte, N.C.; one daughter, Mrs. P.O. Adams, of Springdale, Pa.; one 
brother, W. A. Witt of Oklahoma, and two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Trousdale and 
Mrs. James Webb.  The body was remomved to the chapel of Barclay & Brandon.
