MRS. ABERNATHY'S FATHER DIED LAST THURSDAY

Mr. W.Z. Wolf who was one of the oldest and best citizens of Lineville, died 
last Thursday night in a hospital in Atlanta where he was operated on some 
hours before.  His remains were brought through Roanoke on the early train 
Saturday morning and were in interred in Lineville on Sunday afternoon. The 
deceased was the father of Mrs. Sam F. Abernathy of Roanoke, who, with her 
husband, went to Lineville to attend the last sad rites. This affliction is 
doubly heavy upon the children of the family since the mother died only five 
months ago.
