The friends and relatives of Mr. and
Mrs. Thomas Murphy Walraven Sr., Mr. and Mrs T. M. Walraven Jr., Mr and Mrs
W. O. Walraven,  Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Walraven, Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Holland,
Mr. and Mrs L. L. Whitfield, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Ham,  Mr. and Mrs. C. L.
Rolader, Mr. and Mrs. P.E. McConnell, Mr. and Mrs. George McCravy, the
grandchildren and great-grandchildren are invited to attend the funeral of

Mr. Thomas Murphy Walraven Sr. this (Sunday) afternoon at 1 o'clock from the
Sardis Methodist Church.  

Note:Thomas M. Walraven's  wife was Mary Emma Brown.
She is related to the Akin/Brown in Atlanta, Ga.   

Rev. J.E. Cook and Rev. W. S. Pruitt will
officiate  Interment in churchyard.  The following gentlemen will serve as
pallbearers and meet at the residence on Moore's Mill road at  12:15;  Mr.
Ivon Rolader, Mr. J. H. Rary, Mr. Bartow Densmore, Mr. H. N. Bentley, Mr. J.
M. McGhee and Mr. George Spruill.  The members of Sardis Bible Class will
serve as honorary escort.  J. Allen Couch & Son.
