Bethsaida Baptist Church was founded in 1829.  The original church, a log 
structure, burned about 1834 and was replaced with this building.  It also 
burned and was replaced with the present structure in 1955.  Later, Bethsaida 
and Capiotal View Baptist Church merged.  Bethsaida disbanded in 1996.
