There's something puzzling us, that's how Miss Heffernan can get up so early four mornings a week for Lab, when we can't take but two. MRS. SIDNEY ANDERSON History, Literature B.A., Radford state Teachers College Although Mrs. Anderson is new this year, she has made a place in our hearts. She has been mistaken for a student in our school many times. Her efforts have contributed much to the success of the Cecilians, as well as of the history classes. MRS. ETHEL CLARK Spanish, History I Young Harris College; B.A., Oglethorpe University. What would we do without her? But for her willingness and patience with us, it is very doubtful if Spanish would ever work its way into our brains. MRS. ELIZABETH W. DeFORD Typing, Shorthand Crichton School of Commerce. Besides her regular work of teaching, she is always so willing to help and to cooperate with anyone or any school organization. She always has a cheery smile for everyone. MRS. W. JAY KENNEDY Mathematics Erskine College; A.B., Central State Texas College. We can't think of anyone who enjoys a joke and sees the funny side of life than Mrs. Kennedy, she always seems to draw an attentive audience of girls. Not Pictured: MRS. JANE MATTINGLY Piano Bush Conservatory. It isn't often that she comes over to see us. When she is present, she usually has something interesting and important to tell us about the musical happenings of the school and also of the city.
