George W. Karr was born 1816 in Elbert Co., Ga. to John  and Polly Blair Karr.
George Married Susannah Reed 11 August 1839 and settled in Coweta Co., Ga. 
After the death of Susannah about 1854 George married Catherine Unknow.  They 
lived in Fulton co., Ga.  Two sons from this marriage Stonewall Jackson b. 1865 
and Sherman Karr  b. 1868.
