Bennett, and D. Lee Wicker, Jr., which will be solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy C. Wicker on Barksdale drive, Ansley Park, Friday evening, September 28, at 7:30 o'clock. The ceremony will be performed by the Rev. Richard Orme Flinn, pastor of the North Avenue Presbyterian church, and will be witnesses by a group of friends and relatives. The maid of honor will be Miss Isma Bennett, sister of the bride. Misses Sarah and Katherine Wicker, nieces of the groom, will be the dainty ribbon bearers. The groom will have as his best man his brother, Roy C. Wicker. Miss Hazel Bennett, cousin of the bride-elect, will keep the bride's book. Among those entertaining in honor of the bride-elect are Mrs. M. A. Clay, Mrs. William S. Dennis, Mrs. A. C. Bennett, Miss Isma Bennett and Mrs. Vernon Yost.
