Trippe The marriage of Miss Mary Lou Cooper and Mr. George Renfroe Trippe was solemnized this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter John Cooper, 601 Washington street. The house was beautifully decorated in bamboo and smilax and pink carnations. The matron of honor was Mrs. E. Gresham, of Griffin, and Miss Winnie Davis Cooper was maid of honor, with Miss Violet Trippe and Miss Lucia Goddard, the maids. Mr. Clarence Trippe was best man and Mr. Harvey Gregory and Mr. Fred Clarke, the groomsmen. The bride entered on the arm of her father and before an improvised altar of palms met the groom and his best man. Dr. W. W. Landrum performed the impressive ceremony. The bride, who is one of Atlanta's most beautiful young women, wore her traveling gown, an elegant suit of dark blue chiffon cloth with exquisite lingerie waist and sunfall? hat of blue velvet. She carried a shower bouquet of bride roses and lilies of the valley. The maids wore beautiful gowns of white lace and carried white carnations, and the maid of honor carried meteor roses. After the ceremony a delicious buffet luncheon was served. The centerpiece of the table was of pink carnations and the candlesticks were shaded with pink and the bon bons were of the same color. Mrs. Cooper wore a handsome gown of black lace, over black taffeta. Mrs. Charles E. Kaufman was lovely in black silk. Mr. and Mrs. Trippe left this afternoon for a trip through Florida and will make their home in Jacksonville, where he holds a responsible position with the Cable Piano Company.
