Dunn to Claud Gault of Springfield, Mo., was a beautiful event taking place at the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. R.P. Marler. The wedding guests assembled at 8 o’clock and were received by Mr. and Mrs. Marler, who stood in the artistically decorated reception hall which was a bower of deep yellow chrysanthemums and yellow and white daisy chrysanthemums. The two colors were intermingled in rich autumn tints with foliage. An improvised altar of ferns and daisy chrysanthemums outlined by ribbon streamers marked the place where the bridal party stood. From the chandelier, which threw a soft glow over the wedding scene, hung a beautiful white wedding bell. The wedding attendants included Miss Mamie Marler, Miss Elizabeth Rohner, of Marietta, bridesmaids, and Dewey Sly, best man. The bride was beautifully gowned in black satin back crepe, trimmed with bands of fur with hat and shoes to match, and wore a large corsage of bride’s roses and lilies of the valley. Miss Marler wore midnight blue georgette with hat to match. Miss Bohner wore black satin, trimmed with powder blue to match her picture hat. Their flowers were beautiful corsages of rose buds. Rev. J.B. Allen, uncle of the bride, officiated, with a beautiful and impressive ring ceremony. Among the out of town guests were the bride’s cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Knox Huie, of Marietta, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bohner, of Marietta, cousins of the groom. Miss Evelyn Belle Isle, Miss Jessie Mae Brown, Misses Jimmie and Katie Bohner, of Marietta, and Archie Chapman, of Lithonia. Mr. and Mrs. Gault will leave November 8 to make their home in Springfield, Mo. Additional Comments: Transcriber's note: I'm not related to or researching the Dunn or Gault families.
