H. Gilland, (sic) of New York, which occurred Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. The Constitution 14 Dec 1901 p 11 King-Gilliland An ideal home wedding was that of Miss Hattie Clifford King, of Roswell, Ga., and Mr. William Henry Gilliland, of New York, which was performed at "Mimosa Hall," the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Barrington James King, on last Wednesday. The ceremony was performed by the great-uncle of the bride, Rev. W. E. Baker, at noon in the presence of relatives and a few intimate friends. The old colonial home was simply but beautifully decorated in mistletoe and holly. The improvised altar was formed of ferns, above which was an arch of lighted tapers. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. Barrington King. The attendants were: Mr. Hartwell Spain, best man; Miss Janie King, sister of the bride, and Miss Elise Heath, who were daintily gowned in white. Mrs. Gilliland is the daughter of the late Barrington J. King, of Atlanta. Mr. Gilliland is of a prominent South Carolina family, but for several years has been connected with a New York firm. Immediately after the ceremony the bride and groom left for an extended wedding journey through Florida.
