Sciple entertained at dinner Sunday evening at the Piedmont Driving club in compliment to Miss Marie Sciple, their neice, and Mr. Stanley A. Douglas, of Chicago, whose marriage takes place this afternoon. In the party were Miss Sciple, Mr. Douglas, Miss Brooks, of Mississippi, Mrs. John R. Wilkinson, Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Sciple, Mr. Hampton Leedom, of Milwaukee, and Mr. George W. Sciple. The table centerpiece was of meteor roses and narcissi, and their colors, red and white, with valentines and hearts, were repeated in effective detail. TO MISS SCRIPLE Dr. and Mrs. George K. Varden gave a pretty dinner last night at the Driving club in compliment to Miss Marie Sciple and Mr. Allen Douglas. Miss Sallie Cobb Johnson and Mr. Hampton Leedom, of Milwaukee, completed the party. The table was set in the rose room, and the decoration was an artistic arrangement of pink roses.
