Dr. Witherspoon Dodge performing the ceremony at his home, on Amsterdam Avenue, with only members of the immediate family witnessing the ceremony. The attendants were Miss Carolyn Cheek and Mr. Ralph Ricketts. The bride was charmingly attired in a turquoise blue dress trimmed in silver, with gray accessories, her shoulder corsage was of sweetheart roses and lilies of the valley. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pierce H. Savin, of this city, and has many friends. Mr. Cheek is the son of Mrs. Emmie Cheek of Atlanta. Mr. and Mrs. Cheek are at home to their friends on Cherokee Avenue. Additional Comments: Hugh Livingston Cheek was the son of the late James Nesbitt Cheek from Laurens, SC.
