H. Gilleland (sic). The bride and groom came through Macon on a short bridal trip, spending Thursday night with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Poe. They will, on their return from their bridal trip, make their home at Roswell. The bride is an attractive young woman, and her friends regret that her marriage takes her to another part of the state to live. The Atlanta Constitution 24 July 1910 Roswell, Ga. A romantic marriage of last Tuesday was that of Miss Sarah Virginia Poe, of Macon, and Mr. Prather King, of Roswell, which occurred at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Gilleland (sic), on Thirteenth street in Atlanta. Rev. Mr. Purser of West End, officiated. Mrs. King is the charming daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Poe, of Macon while Mr. King is the eldest son of Mrs. B. J. King of the distinguished King family of Roswell. Mr. and Mrs. King will be at home with Mr. John O. Crawley.
