The Rev. J. Sprole Lyons performed the ceremony, which was witnessed by only relatives and a few close friends. Mr. Charles Sheldon at the organ played the beautiful wedding music, “Cantilene Nuptiale,” by Dubois; “Calm as the Night,” by Bohm, “Romance,” by Sheppard; “Nuptial March” by Barnard;”Intermezzo,” by Hollins, and “Reverie,” by St. Claire, were among the selections rendered by Mr. Sheldon. Beautiful Church The church was beautiful with a lovely display of foliage plants, palms and magnificent white chrysanthemums. The altar was banked with a perfect mass of palms and in its center were two-branched candelabra of heavy hammered brass, holding white wax burning tapers. At either side of this, were tall floor baskets holding massive white chrysanthemums. Miss Mary Estes Tarver was maid of honor and her sister’s only attendant. She was becomingly gowned in tan embroidered georgette, banded in fur. Her hat was also of tan. Dr. Henry Cliff Sauls, was best man. The bride and groom entered together. Lovely Bride The charming bride was lovely in an ensemble suit of rustic bengaline, trimmed in baby leopard. Her attractive hat was of brown ribbon. Mrs. C.M. Bowcock, mother of the groom, wore brown moiré trimmed in beige, with a hat of matching brown. During the evening Dr. and Mrs. Bowcock left for New Orleans for their wedding trip. On their return they will be at home to their friends at the St. Andrews apartments on West Peachtree street. Prominent Families Mrs. Bowcock is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A.W.
