Foote, on King’s highway. Only a few intimate friends and the immediate families were present, owing to a recent bereavement in the bride’s family. A beautiful musical program was rendered by Mrs. S.R. Christie, Jr. just before the ceremony, which was performed by the Rev. Ben R. Lacy, Jr. The improvised altar was formed of southern smilax and ferns, interspersed with cathedral candelabra and tall baskets of white chrysanthemums. To the strains of Lohengrin’s wedding march the bride entered with her father, Frank W. Taylor, who gave her in marriage. She wore a lovely ensemble costume of gray, trimmed with squirrel fur, and accessories to match. Her flowers were a corsage bouquet of bride’s roses. Among the out-of-town guests were: Mrs. J.E. Tomlin, of Albany, Ga.; Mrs. W.H. Woodbury, of Ashevlle, N.C. and Mrs. Howard Elgin, of Washington, D.C. Mr. and Mrs. Woodbury will be at home after then tenth of December at 121 Greenwood Place.
