Dr. Cranford. The impressive ring ceremony was used. The beautiful young bride was lovely in her wedding dress of blue chiffon velvet with accessories to match. She wore a corsage bouquet of bride’s roses. Mrs. E.C. Rae, only attendant and matron of honor, was gowned in grown satin. Mr. Rae acted as best man. After the ceremony a buffet supper was served at the home of the groom’s parents on DeKalb Avenue. Mrs. Hagan, mother of the groom was becomingly attired in black crepe de chine. Mrs. Ward, mother of the bride wore black Canton crepe. Mrs. Horace Austin, sister of the bride wore blue Canton crepe.
