ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:	
Mangrum's death was probably shortly before May 2, 1867.  
His widow, Jane, filed for a widow's year of support on 
May 2, 1867.The family came to Gilmer in 1847. From researcher 
Nula Tingleff: I was very interested in your mention about the 
probate of Mangum Jones.  I am researching his daughter Rachel 
who married James Rogers from Buncombe Co., NC.  I have seen a 
reference that said Jinney or Jane Jones' maiden name was Sluder.
I don't have too much more on him.  I did find a deed in Buncombe 
Co., NC and at the time of making he stated he was "of Burke Co. 
NC".  Hopefully there might be more there on him.  Will try to
