The church was moved between 1878-98 and preceded present day Nine Mile United Methodist Church located three miles northwest. Over the years mowing and clearing the cemetery has resulted in many field stones being moved from their original gravesites. The stones, together with foundation bricks, have been placed in piles where the church once stood. Directions: From Ellijay take U.S. Hwy 76/Ga. 52 (Chatsworth Rd.) west 10 miles. Turn left on Pleasant Hill Rd. Go 2 miles and turn left on Mountaintown Rd. Go .08 miles and turn right at driveway and go up the hill. Cemetery is on the right on top of the hill.
