Flat Creek Baptist Church in my belief no longer exists,
the congregation must have moved to Mt. Pisgah Baptist
Church located in western Gilmer County, Coosawattee
District.  I do have photos of the grave of Moses and
will have to get my wife, who is also a 'writer' send
them to you.  Flat Creek Bapt. Church is a story itself,
the congrgation sang 'notes' and lingusit came there to
record the songs.  Moses was pastor in 1894.



Mt. Pisgah Baptist Cemetery: is located on Round Top
Road, approximately 2 miles north of the Gilmer Co-
Pickens Co. line.


Tombstone information:  Moses T. Southerland b. 1847 d. 1932
                        Tarrey Medlin Southerland b.1834 d. 19??
Graves are located front row facing the road in front of the Church.
