Gudger Deed To Daniel Smith No. 32 - Town Lot l/4 acre Cert No. 63-11-2 Georgia Gilmer County, this indenture made and entered into this fifth day of January Eighteen Hundred and Fifty three between J. G. Gudger of the one part and Daniel Smith of the other part. Both of the county and State aforesaid. Witnesseth that the said J. G. Gudger for and in consideration of the sum of Eight Hundred & fifty dollars, to him in hand paid by the said Daniel Smith at and before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and by these presents grant bargain sell unto the said Daniel Smith a certain lot in the Second Survey of the Town of Ellijay in said county being in said Survey by Lot Number thirty two, on which there is a Tan Yard & a part of lot of land number sixty three in the Eleventh district and second section being that part of lot No. 63 which lies west of the Tan Yard & running back on the hill as far as lots number Thirty and Thirty three, being one fourth of an acre more or less. To have and to hold said bargained premises unto him the said David Smith his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof with the said Smith against himself his heirs executors, administrators and assigns in fee simple. Together with all and singular rights & appurtenances thereunto belonging. In witness whereof have hereunto set my hand and seal the day, year first above written. Signed in presence of R. W.
