Foster To Victoria Allen State of Georgia, Gilmer County This indenture made this 17 day of December in the year of our Lord, one Thousand and Eight hundred and Ninety between W. H. Foster of the County of Gilmer of the first part and Victoria Allen of the County of Gilmer of the second part. Witnesseth: That the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and ninety three 12/100 dollars in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged has granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents does grant, bargain sell and convey unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county of Gilmer said state described as follows: Nearly eight acres of Lot of Land No. Ninety-Seven (97) in the Eleventh (11) dist Section 2. Section formed as follows, beginning at the first branch at the Jasper Road south of the ford of Cartecay River thence with the road southward to the next or second branch thence an easterly course on a conditional line agrees ______ four hundred and thirty four (434) feet to the branch in the field and a conditional corner thence down the branch to the agreed corner thence a straight line to the beginning point - five hundred and fifty (550) feet. The said Foster expressly does not warrant the mineral interest in said part of lot of land as to himself but allows the said Victoria Allen what claims she may have against R. Z. Roberts as a former warrantor of said minerals and land to have and to hold the said bargained premises together with all and singularly the rights members and appurtenance thereof to the _______ being belonging or In any wise appertaining to the only proper use benefit and behoof of her the said party of the her heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple except as to the mineral aforesaid and the said party of the first part for himself his heirs executors and administrators the said bargains premises meets the said party of the second part her heirs executor administrators and assigns against said party of the first part his heirs executors and administers and all and every other person or persons and will warranty and forever define by virtue of these presents in witness herein set his hand and affix his seal the day and year first above written.
