W. H. Foster Deed To W. S. Dobbs 97-11-2 STATE OF GEORGIA, GILMER COUNTY, This indenture made and entered into the first day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety eight between W. H. Foster of the one part and W. S. Dobbs of the other part. Witnesseth that the party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, sold and conveyed unto the said W. S. Dobbs, his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the county of Gilmer as follows: A part of original land lot No 99 in the 11th District and 2nd Section detailed as follows: Beginning at the Buffington line on the Jasper road, thence south with the Jasper road to the Craig line, thence a northerly course by a new wire fence to the Byers fence thence along the Byers fence to the branch, thence down the branch to the Buffington line thence up the branch with the Buffington line to the beginning point containing twenty five acres more or less. Which said tract or parcel of land the said W. H. Foster will ____ and truly warrant and defend from the claims of all persons whatsoever unto the said W. S. Dobbs his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple. In testimony whereof the said W. H. Foster hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year above written.
