State of Georgia Gilmer County.  
To all persons to whom these presents shall come, Greeting.  Know ye that I, 
Josiah Trible for the sum of Forty Dollars in hand paid to my full 
satisfaction from Garland Gibson, do give grant bargain and sell, unto the 
said Garland Gibson his heirs and assigns.  All that tract or lot of land 
being in the Tenth District second section of now Gilmer County, and known by 
number one hundred and two, 102, containing 160 acres, together with all and 
singular the rights members and appurtenances belonging to the same. To have 
and to hold said lot of land unto Him the said Garland Gibson his heirs and 
assigns forever in fee simple, to his own proper use and benefit and behoof.  
And the said Josiah Trible will warrant and forever defend by virtue of these 
presents.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal, 
this the first day of December 1847 signed sealed and delivered in presence of
