MORTUARY.

REv. J. F. Pettit, Cartecay, Ga.
Ellijay, Ga., March 2-
Rev. J. F. Pettit died suddenly today at his home at Cartecay. Gilmer county, 3 
miles from this place.  Rev. Mr. Pettit was a Methodist preacher and a general 
temperance advocte.  He practiced what he preached.  He was 64 years of age and 
a good citizen.
