Mrs. Weaver was born Dec. 14, 1913 in Laurens County, the daughter of Johnny and Sally Cobb Tyson. She is preceded in death by husband Harve Weaver. She worked in the textile industry and was a member of the Ellijay Church of God. She is survived by daughters and son-in-laws, Sally and Clyde Chastain, Ellijay and Mary Ann and Gene Burrell, Palm Harbor, Fla.; brothers and sister- in-laws, Wilmer (PED) Tyson, Morrow, Charles Tyson, Pensacola, Fla., Junior and Ruth Tyson, Donald Tyson, and Betty Jean Thigpen, all of Dublin, and Teresa Wiggley, Ohio; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 16 at 2PM from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Chastain, Rev. Tony Chastain, and Rev. David LeGrand officiating. Music by Irene Wofford and Sherry Crisp. Pallbearers were Dan Burrell, Jeremy Queen, Anthony Clayton, David Clayton, Ben Charles, and Howie Parks. Honorary pallbearers were Bob and Julie Martin, Elizabeth Dunn, Ruby Cochran, David Westmoreland, Elizabeth Satterfield, Mattie Sanford, Benny and Betty Weaver, Bernice McClure, Evelyn Watkins, Sue Braille, Barbara Tipps, and Marge Grant. Interment was in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Bernhardt Funeral Home. Additional Comments: Julie's first husband was Lanier "Lonie" Pullen. Harvey R. "Harve" Weaver is also buried at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
