The 2 photos were found in a box that belong to Ruth Thompson-Sizemore , 
daughter of John W. Thompson & Mary Lewis Walker

Both of these photos are post-bellum,
circa 1890. Top photo: Look at the men's,
women's, and children's style of clothing.
Look at the men's lapels. They have
reunion ribbons/medals on them. If these
men were soldiers it would be likely that
they would have accoutrements with the
weapons (i.e. cartridge box, belt, cap
box, canteen, haversack). Likely veterans,
late 1800's or early 1900's.
