Johnson, Ordinary, Gilmer County, that I. W. H. Foster acknowledge ourselves jointly and severally bound unto A. M. Johnson Ordinary of said county and his successors and assigns in the just and full sum of four hundred dollars to the true payment of which well and truly to be made we bind ourselves and the heirs and Executors of us and each of us jointly and severally by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this 2nd day of May 1892. The condition of the above bond or obligation is such that if the above bound W. H. Foster who is this day appointed Guardian of the person and property of Lamuel R. Foster, Mary A. Foster, Cora L. Foster, Wm. L. Foster, Henry B. Foster, Stanley Foster orphan children of Isabell Foster deceased he acknowledging of the same by his acceptance of said appointment and of letters of Guardianship of this date shall well and truly maintain clothe and educate said orphans according to their circumstances and shall take good and lawful care of their person and property according to the laws of this state and shall annually make a just and true return of all his acting’s and doings herein unto the said ordinary and pay over all assets that may remain in his hands when said Guardianship shall legally terminate then this obligation to be void else to remain in full force.
