The Christian Index
At the request of Mill Creek church, Glasscock county, GA., brethren L. R. L. 
Jennings, D. G. Daniell and T. J. Pilcher (pastor) met, June 27th, to set apart 
to the work of the gospel ministry, our brother, A. J. Wartley; Bro. Jennings 
conducting the examination, which was strictly on a Baptist line, and such as 
would show to any what Baptist views and doctrines are.  Sermon by Bro. 
Jennings, I Tim. iv: 16.  Prayer by Bro. Pilcher, Charge and delivery of the 
Bible by our venerable Bro. Daniell.  The services were truly instructive--such 
as any church should be proud to have.
