Albert Seals Barksdale, 78, died last night at home in Bastonville, Ga.
Occupation: Merchant for 40 years. 
Funeral: at the residence, 12/8/1949, Rev. T.C. Burrell.
Burial: Barksdale family cemetery
Pallbearers: Grandchildren, Ralph Brown, Lois Chalker, Gerald Newsome, Ralph 
Smith, Ernest Swint, and Fay Smith. 
Survivors: 
Wife-Mrs. Mattie Land Barksdale.
Sons-Lamar and Herbert Barksdale 
Daughters-Mrs. Nellie Cook, Mrs. Inez Newsome, Mrs. Alma English, Mrs. Lucy 
Smith, Mrs. Murlie Dixon, Miss Myra Barksdale
Sister-Mrs. Ralph Smith 
21 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews-unnamed.
