Son of the late Capt. Allen Kelley of the 48th Georgia regiment of the Confederate army and Mrs. Sarah Kitchens Kelley. Funeral: Mitchell Methodist Church 7/6/1942. Rev. R. O. Edenfield and Rev. Harry Moore officiating. Burial: Mitchell cemetery. Occupations: teacher, lumberman, farmer, banker, merchant, gin operator, county official. Marital history: 1st married to the late Miss Felicia Lassiter. 2nd marriage to the late Mrs. Josephine Lozier. Active pallbearers: R. O. Kelley, H. C. Kelley, Lt. William Gifford, W. J. Wren, S. M.
