Glynn County Georgia Cemeteries Baldwin (African American) File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by "Amy Hedrick" Table of Contents page: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/glynn.htm Georgia Table of Contents: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm Baldwin Cemetery, Brunswick, Glynn Co., Georgia Transcribed by Amy Hedrick email: amylyn@btconline.net This cemetery is located in the Myers Hill Hunting Club. You will need to get permission to go out there and see it. I was told that there is a path that you can walk down and get to the cemetery without being completely on the hunting club property, however you will still be trespassing. This is a black cemetery. There is one white person buried here. Her name is Clara Linton Joyner and she was a nurse to one of the Baldwins. Her family was disgraced by her living with a black family and disowned her. To the Baldwins though, she was one of the family. I have individual photos of all of the stones. 1st Row: 1. JOYNER, Clara Linton 1904 - 1968 MAY THY WILL BE DONE 2. PYLES, Augustus G.
