DIED OF BROKEN HEART—Mother Died in Twelve Hours After Son Expired.

Brunswick, Ga., April 11—(Special)—Heartbroken over the death of her son, whom 
she had nursed through a long period of illness, Mrs. Martha J. Ames, wife of 
a former lighthouse keeper, became ill and died within twelve hours after her 
son expired.

George W. Ames, the son, died after an illness of almost year.  During the 
many months that he lay ill, his aged mother refused to leave his bedside, 
although friends and neighbors offered to take her place.
