ONE BY ONE

The young may die, but the old must—for it is so decreed.  One by one we cross 
the river and rest on the other side.  We chronicle this week, the death of 
Mrs. A.C. Clark of this city, an old and respected citizen.  She has lived 
her “three score years and ten” but the summons came, at last, and she is 
gone, leaving behind many to mourn her loss.
