SAD DEATHS—We are called on to chronicle two sad deaths this week, both young 
girls, the pride of their respective households—Miss Alice Lasserre and Miss 
Hattie Cowman.  The former occurred last Saturday evening, and the latter last 
Wednesday morning.  The families have our heartfelt sympathy in this their sad 
affliction.
